Per Diem Home Health Coder

HCCS has a per diem opening for an experienced and certified Home Health Coder. Work remotely for a great company from the comfort of your home! Candidates will be expected to work up to 20 hours per week, as needed by Scheduling. 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Current coding certification 
  • Minimum of 3 years of Home Health coding experience 
  • Proficiency should include ICD-10 CM (dx) and CPT coding
  • Proficiency in OASIS coding - Start of Care (SOC), Resumption of Care (ROC), Discharge (DC),         
         Recertification (Recert) and Transfer
  • Proficiency in Hospice coding is preferred
  • Kinsser and OASIS experience is required
  •  Must be able to train during normal business hours until released from training (1-2 weeks)
  • Ability to work from home in a quiet space
  • Access to high speed internet and computer equipment

Per diem Observation Coder

HCCS has a per diem opening for an experienced and certified Observation Coder. Work remotely for a great company from the comfort of your home! Per diem candidates will be expected to be available 20 hours per week Monday through Friday!

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Current coding certification - CIRCC and CCS is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of Observation coding experience
  • Fluent in assigning and sequencing ICD-10 and CPT procedures for cardiovascular and IVR coding
  • Proficiency in Injections and Infusions coding is required
  • Previous experience in using 3M and Meditech is a plus
  •  Must be able to train during normal business hours until released from training (1-2 weeks)

Full-time Inpatient Coder

HCCS has a full-time opening for an experienced and certified Inpatient Coder. Work remotely for a great company from the comfort of your home! Full-time candidates will be expected to work 40 hours per week!

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
  • Minimum of 3 years Inpatient coding experience - Trauma level II or above
  • Must have CAH (CPT) coding experience 
  • Must be fluent in 3M, Citrix, and Meditech
  •  Must be able to train during normal business until released from training (1-2 weeks)

In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and development of client projects for the organization. You will work closely with key departments to coordinate resources and ensure that client projects and needs are met in a timely manner

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Health Information Management or related field
  • 3+ years job-related experience in Healthcare, preferably in a Project Management role or any equivalent combination 
         of education and experience
  • Project Management Professional Certification from PMI is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word
  • Experience using Project Management Systems such as Microsoft Project is required

HCCS has a full-time opening for an energetic and self-motivated Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for recruitment efforts to identify, attract and hire the right talent for remote and on-site roles. This position provides the first point of contact for candidates to ensure the best candidates are attracted. You will also follow-up on initial client leads to assist Sales with developing prospective client relationships.

Health Information Manager

HCCS has a full-time opening for an experienced and certified Health Information Manager. As a Health Information Management (HIM) Manager, you will oversee onsite liaison staff, logistical operations, and support the HIM Regional Director with various initiatives to reduce the overall DNFC across all health system locations. In addition to working remotely, the position will require travel on-site as needed. 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management is required
  • Current RHIA or RHIT coding certification from AHIMA
  • Extensive (minimum of 3 years, preferably 4+ years) HIM department experience
  • Minimum of 1 year healthcare management experience is preferred
  • Possess a thorough understanding of revenue cycle management
  • Strong project management experience is required
  • Must be fluent in Meditech and EPIC
  • Ability to work from home in a quiet space and travel as needed onsite (60-65%)
