HCCS has full-time and part-time openings for experienced and certified Remote Coders. Weekly schedules and hours are flexible, but consistency is required of both full and part-time coders. This is not contract work like what most of our competitors offer. Our clients hire us as an indefinite solution rather than temporary help that we provide using short-term coders. When we hire coders and auditors, our goal is for them to still be with us when they retire. Our client facilities range from CAHs with less than 25 beds to Trauma 1 Academics in some of the largest health systems in the country. While we try to keep shuffling to an absolute minimum, we hire coders for types of hospitals rather than a specific client - this means a coder's job with us is not dependent on that client.

Desired Skills and Experience

• One of the following current coding certifications is required: CCS, RHIA, and/or RHIT
• Minimum of 3 years Inpatient coding experience - Trauma level II or above
• Minimum of 1 years Inpatient auditing experience - Trauma level II or above
• Previous experience working as a DRG/APR-DRG auditor and/or coder is required
• 3M, Meditech experience a plus

Healthcare Coding and Consulting Services, LLC (HCCS) currently has full-time openings for experienced and certified remote Profee / Pro Clinic Coders. HCCS is looking for someone who is eager to grow and learn new specialties. A professional who is independent, flexible, and excels in a fast-paced environment. Your role will include auditing coders and providers to ensure accuracy expectations are met and identify any risk to clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years coding Inpatient, Same Day Surgery, Observation, and/or E/M Clinic Charts. 
• Current coding certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC – (CPC, CCS-P, CPMA, RHIT, RHIA)
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during normal business hours in CST or EST. 

HCCS currently has part-time and full-time openings for experienced and certified IP Facility Coders. The perfect candidate will have 3 plus years of current medical coding experience in the specific chart type along with a current coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC. Candidates must be available to train during normal business hours Monday - Friday EST.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC - CCS strongly preferred, but RHIA or RHIT will be accepted
• Minimum of 3 years Inpatient Coding experience required.
• Trauma Level 1 and spinal fusion experience is required
• Full-time: Commitment to 40 hours per week
• Part-time: Commitment to 20 hours per week

HCCS has full-time openings for experienced and certified OBS (INO) coders with facility and professional experience. The perfect candidate will have 3 plus years of current medical coding experience in the specific chart type along with a current coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC. You must have the ability to work from home in a quiet space and access to high-speed internet to perform this job. Candidates must be available to train during normal business hours Monday – Friday EST.

• Current Coding Certification: AHIMA or AAPC certification is a must; CCA and CPC-A certifications will not be considered.
• Extensive Observation Coding Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Observation coding is required, showcasing your expertise in this specialized area.
• Injections and Infusions Proficiency: We are seeking coders who have a strong understanding of Injections and Infusions coding to ensure accurate and comprehensive coding practices.
• Expertise in E/M and CPT Coding: Your in-depth knowledge of Evaluation and Management (E/M) and CPT Coding will be invaluable in this role.
• Observation Hours Capture: Experience in capturing Observation hours is a plus, demonstrating your versatility as a coder.

HCCS has full-time opening(s) for an experienced and certified SDS Coder . The perfect candidate will have 3 plus years of current medical coding experience in the specific chart type along with a current coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC.  Candidates must be available to train during normal business hours Monday - Friday EST. 

Desired Skills and Experience

• Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC; CCA and CPC-A not accepted
• Minimum of 3 years of Same Day Care coding experience with experience in facility and profee surgical coding. 
• A strong surgical coder who is well rounded in various specialties.
• Cerner and 3M experience a plus.
  
  

HCCS currently has full-time openings for an experienced and certified ED Medical Coder coding facility and professional charts. The perfect candidates with have at least 3 plus years of medical coding experience along with a current coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC. Candidates must be available to train during normal business hours Monday – Friday EST.

Position Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in coding ED facility and professional charts
• Must have expert experience coding Injections and Infusions 
• Must have E/M leveling experience
• Experience in multiple systems a plus
