Full-time Professional Fee Coder

HCCS has a full-time opening for an experienced and certified Professional Fee Coder. Work remotely for a great company from the comfort of your home! Candidates will be expected to commit to working 40 hours per week for full-time employment.  

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
  • Minimum of 3 years of Professional Fee coding experience - Inpatient, Same Day Care, Observation and Clinic E/M               leveling
  •  Pro Clinic coding experience must include proficiency in Podiatry, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, 
          Orthopedics, OB/GYN, and Family Practice
  • Strong experience in E/M leveling and CPT coding skillset; knowledge in 1995/1997 guidelines
  • Knowledge in Medicare guidelines
  • Knowledge of using 3M, Meditech and Azalea is required
  • Ability to work from home in a quiet space
  • Access to high speed internet 

 

Per diem Inpatient Auditor

HCCS has a per diem opening for an experienced and certified Inpatient Auditor. Work remotely for a great company from the comfort of your home! Candidates will be expected to commit to working up to 20 - 29 hours per week, or as needed. 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Current CCS coding certification from AHIMA
  •  Extensive (minimum of 3-5 years) Trauma Level II Inpatient coding experience
  •  Extensive (minimum of 2 years) Trauma Level II Inpatient auditing experience  
  •  Must be able to cite coding guidelines and source guidance such as AHA Coding clinics
  • Must be fluent in multiple EHRs including EPIC and Meditech
  •  Must have strong grammar and writing skills set, with attention to detail
  •  Must be able to work independently with strong time management skills necessary for project completion
  •  Must have moderate to extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to train during normal business hours Monday - Friday
  • Ability to work from home in a quiet space
  • Access to high speed internet and computer equipment

Emergency (Professional Fee) Coder

HCCS has immediate openings for experienced and certified Emergency Professional Fee Coders. Work remotely for a great company from the comfort of your home! These are project based roles and the right candidate will be available immediately to work 20-40 hours per week for the life of the project, expected to end in late December or first quarter 2021.  

Desired Skills and Experience for Coders

  •  Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
  •  Minimum of 3 years of Emergency professional fee coding experience
  •  Must be proficient in 1995 CMS E/M guidelines
  •  Must be able to code CPT procedures
  •  Experience in charge posting preferred
  •  Must be able to train during normal business hours until released from training (1 - 2 weeks)
  •  Must have the flexibility to work 20-40 hours per week for the project
  • Ability to work from home in a quiet space

HCCS has an immediate opening for experienced and certified Emergency (Facility and Professional Fee) Coders. Work remotely for a great company from the comfort of your home! These are project based roles and the right candidate will be available immediately to work 20-40 hours per week for the life of the project, expected to end in late December.  

Desired Skills and Experience for Coders

  •   Current coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC

  •  Must be proficient in E/M leveling  and injections and infusions coding
  • Must be able to train during normal business hours until released from training (1 - 2 weeks)
